Artificial intelligence: a lever for job creation and reduction in deficit

Artificial intelligence: a lever for job creation and reduction in deficit

Artificial intelligence is often perceived as a threat to employment, but it actually represents a considerable opportunity to energize the economy and promote job creation.

In a context where millions of French people aspire to embark on entrepreneurship, AI could be the tool that allows them to overcome the barriers to entry and structure their project effectively. However, for this revolution to benefit the French economy, it is essential to rethink the taxation of entrepreneurs and to adapt public policies.

Raise financial brakes and simplify legal and administrative processes

Today, several million people in France wish to undertake, but come up against multiple obstacles: lack of financial resources, administrative complexity, and limited access to professional expertise. For entrepreneurs with more modest scholarships, AI represents a real emancipation lever by allowing them to access services previously out of reach: logo creation, structuring of a commercial discourse, market study, business plan, drafting of statutes and contracts … So many tools that increase their chances of success and facilitate development.

AI therefore makes it possible to democratize access to the necessary skills and to drastically reduce the main causes of the failure of a project. However, to maximize the benefit of this democratization of the company for France, it is crucial to set up export motivations suitable for young companies. By lightening the charges and facilitating access to aid, the state could rely on hundreds of thousands of entrepreneurs to improve trade balance

Increased entrepreneurship

Artificial intelligence offers a unique opportunity to nearly 10 million French people who wish to undertake. It gives them the means to structure their project, to test ideas quickly and to professionalize their approach without an excessive initial investment. By making expertise accessible hitherto reserved for wealthy entrepreneurs, AI promotes a rapid and effective skills of entrepreneurs.

By reducing risks and increasing the prospects for success, AI becomes a value creation engine. An entrepreneur who succeeds hires, invests, and contributes to the economic dynamics of the country.

But for this virtuous circle to work fully, it is essential that the State adapts its tax and regulatory framework in order to encourage these new dynamics. France must position itself as an incubator of initiatives by facilitating the export of successful companies and by reducing the tax burden on young growing structures.

The role of the State

Artificial intelligence cannot fully play its economic role without a proactive public policy. If France wants to see a generation of competitive international entrepreneurs emerge, it must adapt its tax model and its aid systems.

Rather than multiplying taxes and charges weighing on emerging companies, it is imperative to adopt a taxation which promotes their growth. An entrepreneur who succeeds internationally does not only generate profits for himself: he hires more, pays wages that boost consumption and generates VAT in France.

If every year France has a deficit trade balance, then the country is becoming a point in and is no longer able to pay its social model. The stake of export is crucial, and it is not for nothing that Trump has an aggressive policy on customs costs.

Italy has been able to set up attractive devices for its international entrepreneurs. France must be inspired by inventing for example an “export credit”, where the State would reimburse part of the investments linked to international development, or by lightening the taxation of companies which create value abroad while maintaining their anchoring in France.

The Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CCI) and Business France also have a key role to play. They must become catalysts of opportunities by supporting entrepreneurs in marketing outside France and helping them to make the best use of AI tools to structure and develop their activity abroad.

AI, a growth engine for France

Far from being a threat, AI is an accelerator of growth and job creation. By democratizing access to expertise, it gives entrepreneurs the means to succeed, hire and energize the economy. But to fully exploit this potential, the State must adapt its tax and administrative framework, encourage internationalization and make entrepreneurs the real engines of national prosperity.
