A study commissioned by Google Cloud on the return on investment highlights three verticals.
After the euphoria of experiments in 2024, the time is now for concrete results. The second world study on the King of AI conducted by the National Research Group for Google Cloud with 3,466 leaders around the world, 179 in France, reveals that French companies lead the European race for the adoption of generative artificial intelligence, with already measurable investment returns.
In France, 57% of generative AI use cases have been in production for more than a year, ahead of the global average of 52%. Among the companies having declared an increase in income, 51% attribute to the generative AI a growth of 6 to 10%, while 40% evoke an increase greater than 10%. The most important kings manifest themselves in the business and IT sectors (71 %), customer experience (56 %) and finally cost optimization (54 %).
Beyond the generative AI, French companies are already kissing agentics. 47% of them actively use AI agents. A rate that places France among European leaders, ahead of the United Kingdom (39%) and Germany (45%). A trend that is confirmed even more among the firsts of agents who record higher kings, particularly in customer service (54%), marketing (55%), security operations (51%) and technical support (46%).
A fundamental movement seems to be started to believe business budgets. 43% of leaders worldwide plan to devote at least 50% of their future budget to agents.
